This example demonstrates how to use this Listener to receive events from pump devices connected to an Azure IoT Hub can be found below.

Refer to configuration to understand all configuration options of this Agent.

Step 1: Add the Agent

Drag the Azure IoT Listener Agent onto the canvas, link the output to the printer, and save the Data Stream.

Step 2: Configure General

Select the Agent and click Configure. In this case, keep the default Collection and polling interval.

Step 3: Configure IoT Hub Details

Set the following: IoT Hub Host Name, Event Hub Name, Event Hub EndPoint, Shared Access Key Name, and Shared Access Key Value.

Set Device to XMDocsDevice.

Step 4: Configure Output Properties

Add Output Properties for PumpId (String) and Temperature (Double).

Apply the changes and save the Data Stream.

Step 5: Results

Publish the Data Stream and let's look at the Live Data View. Events from the IoT Hub, filtered by device, are printed.
