Example

This example demonstrates how to use the Convert Flow Units Function to convert a simulated flow measurement from Liters Per Minute to Gallons Per Minute.

Refer to configuration to understand all configuration options of this Agent.

Step 1: Add the Agent

Drag the Agent onto the canvas from the toolbox.

Add the necessary links to connect the Data Stream.

Save the changes by clicking the Save button.

Step 2: Configure General

Select the Agent and click Configure. Keep the default collection.

Step 3: Configure Settings

In the Converter Grid, click the "+" button to add a line for each conversion.

  1. Select the Input Value that is to be converted

  2. Select the current Unit of measurement as Input Unit

  3. Selected the expected Unit as Output Unit

  4. Specify an Alias for the converted value as Output Value

Click Apply to complete the configuration.

Step 4: Results

Save the Data Stream and publish it. In the Live View, it can be observed that a new attribute containing the converted value has been added to the output.
