Example

This example demonstrates how to use this Transformation to detect changes in temperature or flow rate.

Refer to configuration to understand all configuration options of this Agent.

Step 1: Add the Agent

Drag the Edge Analysis Transformation Agent onto the canvas, link the input endpoint to the pump data, the output endpoint to the printer, and save the Data Stream.

Step 2: Configure General

Select the Agent, and click Configure. Keep the default Collection.

Step 3: Configure Input

Select the properties to monitor for changes. In this case, select Temperature and Flow Rate.

Step 4: Results

Apply the changes, save the Data Stream, and publish it.

Look at the Live Data View to see the results. Columns for the monitored attributes have been added to the incoming events. Every time the Temperature or Flow Rate differs from the previous record, the corresponding change property value is true and appears as a ticked checkbox.
