Example

This example Data Stream demonstrates how to use this Listener to retrieve SD5500 X02's pressure and temperature values from the ifm Server.

Refer to configuration to understand all configuration options of this Agent.

Step 1: Add the Agent

Drag the ifm Listener onto the canvas and rename it. Link the output endpoint to the printer and save the Data Stream.

Step 2: Configure General

Select the Agent and click Configure. In this case, keep the default Collection and polling interval.

Step 3: Configure the Connection

Enter the Connection details for ifm moneo: server url, endpoint, and security.

In this case, select the server url, "opc.tcp - SignAndEncrypt - Basic256Sha256 - Binary" as the endpoint and tick Auto Accept Server Certificate.

In this case, set security to UserName and then enter credentials for the username and password.

Step 4: Configure Tags Selection

Define the tags input. In this case, keep the default (Using Drilldown).

Step 5: Configure Specify Branch

Set the branch levels. In this case, we'll select 4 levels: Objects -> Devices -> AL1352 192.168.0.110:80 -> SD5500 X02.

Step 6: Configure Tags

Select from the Available Tags and click Add Selected Tags to populate the Tags Grid. In this case, select Pressure and Temperature.

Enter the Alias and Type for the tags in the Tags Grid. In this case, enter their tag names as the alias and set their type to String.

Step 7: View Results

Apply the changes, save the Data Stream, and publish it.

Let's look at the Live Data View. Observe that the current values of SD5500 X02's pressure and temperature nodes are printed every 10 seconds.
