Example
This example Data Stream demonstrates how to use this Action Agent to publish and update the API Tester Thing's latest CPU usage property value.
Refer to configuration to understand all configuration options of this Agent.
Step 1: Add the Agent
Drag the Telit deviceWise Action Agent onto the canvas and rename it. Link the input endpoint to the property data, then the outputs to the printers, and save the Data Stream.
Step 2: Configure General
Select the Agent and click Configure. In this case, keep the default Collection.
Step 3: Configure Connection Settings
Enter the Connection Settings of the IoT Portal to which you want to connect: Url, App Id...
And the App Token, and Thing Key.
Step 4: Configure Target
Select which Type you are publishing to. In this case, leave the Publish Type as Properties.
Click Apply.
Step 5: Input Mapping
Select the Telit deviceWise Action Agent's input arrow and click Configure.
Map the parent Agent's Properties attributes to each input attribute from the property date. In this case, they are ThingKey, PropertyKey, Value, and Timestamp. Click Apply.
Step 6: Results
Save the Data Stream and publish it.
Let's look at the Live Data View. Observe the Success, Error Codes, and Error Messages are appended to the property data.
