Configuration

This section explains each of the properties in the configuration blade.

General

Property	Description
Name	The name that will appear in the Data Source list.

Service Details

Property	Description
Use Variables	Tick to select saved variables; or enter the text manually for the authentication properties.
Url	The Url of the API server. e.g. https://api.openweathermap.org/data/2.5/weather
Use Authentication	Tick to provide HTTP Authentication details; or connect to HTTP anonymously.
Authentication Type	The authentication methods supported are: (applies when Use Authentication is ticked) Basic Bearer Token Custom Header
Username	The username required to access the API (applies to Basic Authentication Type only).
Password	The password required to access the API (applies to Basic Authentication Type only).
Bearer Token	The token for accessing the API (applies to Bearer Token Authentication Type only).
Custom Header Key	The HTTP header key is added to the request headers (applies to Custom Header Authentication Type only).
Custom Header Value	The HTTP header value is added to the request headers (applies to Custom Header Authentication Type only).

Operation

Property	Description
Operation	For the time being, the available operation for selection is exclusively limited to GET in the dropdown menu

Input Mapping

Define input parameters, which will be included in the API request transmission.

Property	Description
Include Values on Output	Tick to include the values set on the Input Mapping tables to the output schema. If unticked, empty values are displayed on the output schema.
Parameter	Name of the parameter.
Value	Static value of the parameter.
Type	Data type of the parameter.

Output Mapping

Define the attributes to retrieve from the API response and return in the Connector output.
