Configuration

This section explains each of the properties in the configuration blade.

General

Property	Description
Name	The name that will be visible when selecting a data source.

Server

Property	Description
Use Variables	Tick to use variables for the Neo4j Uri, User Name, and Password settings; or enter them manually.
Uri	The Connection Uri of the Neo4j cloud instance - in the format neo4j+s://{instanceId}.databases.neo4j.io. You can find the URI in Neo4j Console.
User Name	The Username used to connect to the Neo4j instance.
Password	The Password used to connect to the Neo4j instance.

Database

Once the Server Properties are entered, the Connector attempts to open a connection with the specified Neo4j instance. If successful, the Database dropdown is populated with a list of available databases.

Property	Description
Database	The name of the database to connect to.
Specify Cypher Query	Tick to query using a Cypher statement.
Cypher Query	Query Neo4j through a Cypher statement (applies when Specify Cypher Query is ticked). This is useful when querying nodes by relationships.
Primary Key Column	The column used to uniquely identify each row.
